Investment of the Walworth County Community Foundation charitable funds shall be governed first by safety of principal with the objective of earning long term stable income consistent with protection of the principal balance.

As a result, the returns may lag behind other funds that are willing to risk principal in hopes of market timing or special opportunities.

This fund will invest in public equities bonds and governments in order to build a diversified portfolio to provide growth with safety of principal.

Funds will be managed at the direction of the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee to ensure these objectives are met.
